The 2016 Walrus Cup Golf trip shall be held July 31-August 3 in the year of our Lord 2016. We will be staying at the Currie lake estate on gorgeous Clearwater Lake, MN. Get there early to get a good bed! Or just cozy up in a bed with Heger. He won’t mind.

Playing plans are still tentative, but here’s how it’s shaping up so far:

• Sunday:  The Preserve
• Monday: The Pines at Grandview
• Tuesday: The Classic at Maddens
• Wednesday: The Lakes at Ruttgers

Our rounds at The Preserve and The Pines are already booked. Tim Martin at Grandview hooked us up with a great deal at $40 at the Preserve and $85 at the Pines for all you can play. So get pumped for that.

I spent some time talking with the pro from Ruttgers at the Golf Show this week and he assured me they have improved the course conditions over the past couple years and they’ve spent the winter clearing out some overhanging trees and junk to make the course more playable. He also said he’d cut us a deal so I’d like to give it another chance.
